It was a busy day in Dallas on December 9, 2012. The Dallas White Rock Marathon took place that day. We took almost 1,700 photos and around 6 hours of video.
We made appearances at two locations along the course. The Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge (Large Marge) and at the Mile 19 aid station. Below are the links to all of the photos:
There are currently 7 videos from the race with more to come. It just takes a lot of time to prepare all of this. There are 3 videos from Large Marge and currently 4 from mile 19. There will be more videos coming from mile 19.

You would think that it is impossible for humans to move a plane without mechanical assistance, but you would be wrong. Southwest Airlines held their Texas vs. Oklahoma plane pull contest today at their Love Field Dallas headquarters.
Twenty Southwest Airlines employees were chosen by lottery to be on the opposing teams. The contest was held the day before the Red River Rivalry, Dallas’s annual football game between the University of Texas Longhorns and the Oklahoma University Sooners.

Despite OU’s best efforts, Texas pulled the 83,000 pound Boeing 737 a total of 50 yards faster than the other team. Maybe Bevo was their good luck charm.
It hasn’t rained a lot in Dallas this past summer, but yesterday’s deluge of 3.5 inches of rain in less than an hour was something to celebrate. Why let a little rain spoil a relaxing day at the Katy Trail Ice House, for either man or beast?
